We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Machining Engineer to join our team in İzmir, where we provide consulting services to a leading automotive industry player.

General Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in production management, specializing in mechanical production with expertise in metal stamping and/or automated assembly fields.
  • Strong project management skills, with a preference for experience in plant or production line startup.
  • Proven track record in team management, demonstrating effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, SAP experience considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 and lean problem-solving tools like 8D, 5 Why, A3, etc.
  • Fluent in English, additional language proficiency is advantageous.


Job Description:
 
  • Provide technical support to the Production and Maintenance groups to include machining process, kaizen, and countermeasure development and implementation related to quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Develop & execute plans for machining cost reductions with respect to efficiency, including the adaptation of new technologies into the production process.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new projects and machining, changes into mass production.
  • Establish, document, and maintain the Process Control Plan outlining product quality requirements, process setting conditions, and validation requirements within the product line of responsibility.
  • Make recommendations and provide justification for capital investments to be made in the area of responsibility for improvements in quality, safety and productivity.
  • Conduct investigations into machining and process, quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop manufacturing equipment specifications for existing machine modifications and new line introductions.
  • Design new and revised processes to meet customer and internal requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and environment.
  • Coordinate and manage project schedules for equipment modifications and installations, including management of external equipment suppliers and contractors
