We are currently looking for an 'Export and Customs Professional' for our client operating in the enewable energy sector, for which we provide consultancy services.
This role will be responsible for initiating and following the import / export activities which were carried out at Turkish Customs by means of Company Customs Brokers. At the same time create orders and instructions via SAP and check, accept and have them recorded in company financial statements in due time.
Personal Capabilities;
-To graduate from relevant departments of universities (Business -Administration, Logistics, International Trade, etc.)
-Having at least 2-3 years of experience
-Having knowledge of customs regulations and export procedures
-Preferably having a good command of English
-Being able to effectively use MS Office programs
-Being prone to teamwork, having strong communication skills and -analytical thinking
-Having the ability to follow up on tasks
-Being careful, detail-oriented and responsible.
Task Descriptions;
- Complete the import & export transactions on time in full harmony with laws and regulations, trace the open transactions and give feedback to order management and related units
- Prepare the custom instructions and forward the prepared instructions to the Customs Broker Firms
- To talk and discuss with the forwarders for the export orders, coordinating the customs brokers and forwarders
- Contact with the customer for shipping information, Follow the export goods until the delivery place
- Create the payment demands, send payment documents to the banks and follow the payments by banks and customs
- Decide for the payments and advance payments to be given to Customs / Customs Brokers
- Dispatch the bonded products to the warehouses or construction sides
- Follow the duration of the Temporary import /export transactions and drawback the deposits and letter of guarantees from customs and sent to AF
- Apply and follow the license permissions for the import orders.
- To file the payment and customs cost document
- To follow the import, export and custom legislations inform the related persons for the changes
- Support import/export team in pre/post clearance internal audits
